I love weekends!!

We have had a wonderful weekend so far. Yesterday was gloomy and rainy so we decided last night that we didn't want to get out and do anything. Jeff and Kylee went and picked up some chinese food for supper. After we ate and cleaned up we watched the movie "Flywheel." This was such a good movie. It is made by the same church that did "Facing the Giants". This was the first movie they did so the quality was not the best but there was a great message to it. If you have not seen it I would recommend you go out and rent it. Jeff and I both cried several times throughout the movie. It really reminds you what life is all about as a Christian and that Christ should be first in your life.

This morning Jeff and I were woke up by the kids running into our room yelling "Luke opened the container of crickets and they are out in the boys room!" As most of you know we have several critters in our house and some of them eat crickets. After the kids had gone to bed last night Jeff ran to Wal-Mart for a few things and also got crickets while he was there. After feeding some of the crickets he left the container in the boys room. So when Luke got up he was of course curious about them and opened the container. So Jeff jumped out of bed and they all went in there to try and catch the crickets. I just rolled over and stayed in bed. I was not going to help catch them early on a Saturday morning!!!

This evening we went out to Joelton for a cookout at the home of my boss, Jeff Caudill. He tries to have a cookout every year for all of those that work in his department. It turned out to be a beautiful day for it. We are the only ones with children still at home so I was a little worried about that but I was very proud of the kids and they were great. The boys enjoyed playing outside for awhile. We had a great time of fellowship with everyone and enjoyed some good food also. We left a little early and missed out on some games but since we live in Dickson it was about an hour drive for us and we needed to get the kids home for a bath and into bed.

I have finished up some pictures from our trip to Illinois for my Grandma Cook's 80th birthday. While we were there we able to also see my Grandpa Lusk. Here are a few pictures from the day! Hope you have a great Sunday at church tomorrow!

Love the pics of Grandpa Lusk. We need to get over and see him soon. The kids would love to go.

We stayed in and had movie night Friday as well - it was a good night for it! We, however, didn't watch something quite as uplifting. We watched Spy Kidz and Camden loved it. LOL
